Visiting Rochester, my first stop is at original Charbroil restaurant at island cottage rd. The food is amazing, best hamburgers, Texas hotdogs, onion rings. Service is top notch. Still making their own hamburger meat. I had double sausage burger, double hamburger and two Texas hots. Plus chicken sandwich. Trying to get my fill. I use to work here 30 plus years ago. Great place to have dinner with your family. I have 4 more days to enjoy eating there before I fly back.

Charlie's is one of those go-to places when you want great food and burgers at the right price. Where else can you get a chicken-parm sandwich on a grilled hard roll with Charlie's meat hot sauce instead of the regular tomato sauce? I have not yet been able to pick up one of the loaded Charlie Burgers to eat it. It's so loaded it barely fits on the plate. Knife and fork only. See the photo. Delish!!!

We love this place! Jeana was the best!! She was so friendly and kind but also let us know eat our food and relax. The food was great and the restaurant is huge. We didn’t even have to wait to be seated for 6 even though it was a Saturday. And they had live music! We will be back!!! Thank you for the great service Jeana!

Fabulous food and the entertainment was phenomenal tonight! Lobster bake and prime rib were delicious and the giant sundae was the perfect end to a great meal. Definitely coming back!

We went for dinner and got the ribs with pulled pork, baked potato, and mac n cheese. We also ordered the southern fried chicken, steamed vegetables, chili and a seafood bisque. We got some meat hot sauce for our baked potatoes and it was very good and one of the best hot sauces we had. The margaritas and other cocktails were good too.
